After choosing where and how to save your animations, it is time to start
rendering. You can either press CTRL+F12 or use the Render →
Render Animation menu. The rendering of animation will most likely
take a long time, and you should prepare the computer to stay
processing the project for a while.
For projects using Cycles for rendering, processing might require a
couple of hours or days to complete. That depends on a combination of
how complex your project is and the available hardware. You can have
an idea about how long it will take by making a quick calculation.
If one frame takes on average 1 minute to render and the full length of
your animation has 2400 frames, it will take 2400 minutes (1-minute x
2400) to finish. That will roughly give 40 hours of rendering — almost
two days of processing the animation.
To reduce that time, you can do a few things:
Use lower values for sampling and activating the Denoising feature
in Cycles;
Upgrade your hardware! Getting a better GPU (Graphics
processing unit) might dramatically reduce rendering times. A few
options include high-end cards like the RTX family from NVIDIA,
which will give you an option to use OptiX Denoising. A better CPU
with multiple cores might also give a speed boost.
Optimize your scene and remove any visual effects or features
slowing down the render. Add those same effects later in post-
processing.
Since the computer hardware market constantly changes in short
periods, I recommend checking the Blender Open Data:
